Time Out for Mental Health
On April 26th, Grenfell High Community School took a “Time Out for Mental Health” by hosting their very own mental health conference. There was a full attendance of 120 students. There were 20 presenters for the following sessions: pet therapy, gardening, nutrition, painting, Indigenous leadership, self-love, coping with anxiety, experiencing loss, archery, self-defense, floor hockey, LGBTQ2S+, and moving away from home. All these sessions were designed as tools for the youth’s future. Tami Dovell was a keynote speaker.
