Kindness the Timeless Treasure

Grade 5-8 students from the Success School have found their own unique way to spread kindness a little bit further. The students wanted to visit a senior care home to bring joy to their day. However, there were no care homes in their community. Thus, they utilized the Be Kind Online Grant to arrange for travel to Cypress house where they interacted and did crafts with the residents. “The staff was impressed by the students’ patience and kindness as they interacted with the residents, bringing smiles to both the young and young at heart through crafts and stories. With both residents and students eager for more visits, we foresee building future bridges,” said the adult sponsor, Bonnie Moon. The students from Success School prove that a little bit of kindness can go a long way.
