École Wascana Plains School Kindness Crew
Wascana Plains School opened its doors in September, 2017. As a K-8 school in a brand new area of the city, we have been working on building our school community and culture, and ensuring that all of our staff and students as well as our community feel a sense of belonging and security. We know how important it is to work and live in a positive environment. Our Grade 5 and Grade ⅚ English classes have demonstrated amazing leadership skills this year and have created a group whose mission will be to spread kindness and positivity in our school and community. Our plan as a Kindness Crew is to perform both random and intentional acts of kindness, supporting our division-wide Indigenous Circle of Courage teachings around Generosity, Belonging, Independence, and Mastery. We hope to make an impact in both our school and our community!
