GSA Summit 2025

The Regina Public Schools GSA Summit has successfully concluded for another year. The event, made possible by the SaskTel Be Kind Online grant, was attended by over 100 students from various regions of Regina. The summit provided an opportunity for students to express themselves freely and authentically. Attendees engaged in a variety of activities, including social interactions, games, artistic endeavors, reading, dancing, and music, allowing their true selves to shine.

The summit offered a diverse array of stations, such as bracelet making, face painting, makeup stations, ukulele playing, nail painting, karaoke, and Dungeons and Dragons, among others. Students were able to choose their preferred activities, connect with like-minded peers, and listen to a lineup of compelling guest speakers who shared valuable insights. The event was marked by laughter, smiles, and a profound sense of belonging.

“In a world where kindness can make a significant impact, the GSA Summit exemplified the joy that kindness can bring. The Regina Public Schools team extends its gratitude to the SaskTel Be Kind Online grant for their support in facilitating this remarkable event,”—Danielle Hackel, Teacher for the Regina Public Schools.
