Prisma Colour 2024

Prisma Colour is a student-led group at Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School, that supports 2SLGBTQIA+ students and their allies. The group aims to foster a positive and inclusive school environment for all students.

This spring, the students of Prisma Colour participated in two ongoing activities: Mental Health Mondays and Book Club Wednesdays. Every Monday at lunch, students would participate in different mental health projects, such as journal making, practicing gratitude, and positive affirmations from peers. Every Wednesday at lunch, the students read a chapter from the book, Basil and Oregano by Melissa Capriglione. After each chapter, students would discuss the different themes and scenarios that came up in the book.

These activities provide a safe and supportive space for students to express themselves, learn, and grow. Prisma Colour is making a positive impact on the school and in the community.
