Sturgeon Lake Youth Conference 2024

The Sturgeon Lake Youth Conference 2024 was organized and hosted by the youth of Sturgeon Lake First Nation. Over 90 youth from grades 9-12 attended the conference. The event featured a variety of workshop sessions and keynote addresses aimed at the youth. Jordan Tootoo attended on the first day and delivered a message of hope to the youth, which hopefully resonated with them. The workshop sessions covered topics such as healthy living, suicide prevention, bullying, online safety, cultural components, and music.
